Suggested Studio Tour Route

You can park and start at the Galisteo Community Center and get info, fun facts, and suggested routes for the studio tour. There are several studios located in the Galisteo village that are within walking distance of the Community Center (see walking areas marked on the map above). To get to the studios up in the Ranchitos and McKee road areas, we recommend driving. These are only a short distance by car, but you will find parking and you definitely don’t want to miss the views from Ranchitos!

Directions to Galisteo

The historic village of Galisteo is located 25 miles south of Santa Fe off US 285 on State Hwy 41 and 28 miles north of I-40 at Moriarty.

From Albuquerque

Take I-40 east to the second Moriarity exit (Howard Cavasos Blvd). At the top of the exit ramp turn left onto county road 41. Stay on 41 for approximately 28 miles to the town of Galisteo.

From Santa Fe

Take I-25 north toward Las Vegas. Take exit 290 for highway 285 south (sign posted for Clines Corners). Go approximately 8.5 miles until a right hand turn onto State Highway 41 (sign posted for Galisteo and studio tour). Another 5 miles will bring you to the town of Galisteo.
