Corey McGillicuddy’s black-and-white photographic series “Social Distancing” received the Santa Fe Department of Arts and Culture Covid Mini Grants for Hope. Her work has been shown from New Mexico to New York and Connecticut and has been published by Pasatiempo, New Mexico Magazine, and Connecticut Magazine.

Like many photographers, Corey McGillicuddy began as a painter, and, alongside documentary photography, she continues to work in watercolor to express “the uncommon bowl of light” that is the Galisteo Basin. Whether responding deeply to the view out her window, or documenting baseball games, parades, rodeos, county fairs and festivals, Corey brings awareness to the common threads of spirituality, mysticism and romance that weave together spectators, event and community.
