LORRAINE WEISS

Lorraine Weiss is a designer and jewelry maker, whose works are shown in boutiques and galleries across the US and Europe, including Victory Contemporary. She works principally with vintage beads, gathered from over forty years of traveling in China, Afghanistan, India, and Mexico, and from gem shows and auctions across the U.S. and Europe. She chooses stones for their symbolic and evocative qualities, seeking out elements, colors and textures with healing and calming properties.

Jewelry-making is a meditation for Lorraine. The designs are one-of-a-kind, woven and hand-tied with prayers and well wishes for the wearer. These are wearable touchstones: outward reminders of inner beauty, radiance and grace.
